Matthew Fox in the 18th of the 95 theses he pinned to the church door in Wittenberg says Eco Justice is a necessity for planetary survival and human ethics; without it we are crucifying Christ all over again in the firm of destruction of forests, species, air and soil. Nice one Matthew !
Grow Zones update
Well, the church community event on Saturday did not bring in hundreds of people wanting to join the Grow Zones club. But we were about a dozen regular church goers and local neighbours and there was a very positive vibe - excitement about growing your own food, interest in the tips on garden design from my colleague Revd Alastair Prince and a desire to meet again and swop stories and tips. That feels like the beginning of community .....

Grow Zones
How do I, how do any of us, get spiritually connected with a different, more sustainable way of living ? Many words are read in books, spoken in church and heard on Radio and TV but still we carry on as before with a high carbon lifestyle. I hope in growing food in the Grow Zones way that I shall find encouragement and build up the skills and enthusiasm needed.
